i can tell we’re only days away from the solstice–
we’ll be out working the horses and suddenly the sun dips behind a peak and the temperature plummets.

The snow looks refreshing. Here in AZ we were supposed to get a foot; didn’t even get an inch. The big scarf nearly swallows your lovely face. Happy winter!

It was getting dark around 4:30PM…I think…I can feel the looming of solstice too.
I didn’t get -40C! But the weather was still cold and beautiful.
