No! Genie! Rhubarb is alive! He was WALKING down the road and meowing his heart out. He went walkabout for almost a full month, living wild and free. I think he was lost, actually. Don’t worry, he’s fine! Skinny, but fine.

Your work just sings to my soul. It touches the most primeval place inside of me, and yet I want it to adorn me going forward through the ages. Outstanding, as always!
I hope you don’t mind my sneaking up a comment here regarding what you just wrote. I just want to say that you are not alone, dear Jillian. I have been there so recently… I feel with you. There was one point in which I was able to say, in writing, that which had been “shattering me, over and over again, that I have been trying to control, trying to keep my finger on, trying to guard myself from, trying to fight, trying to create a distance from.” And then I sent these words to someone who was able to understand every aspect of it, every level. Deep down. Then it was not struggling anymore to be free, and I did not have to struggle against it either.
So whatever way you find, don’t lose hope. Grace is always round the corner, you are the one who remind us this fact so often. xo
