All that brilliant gold pressed up against a blue and silver sky.

IMG_2324[Hatch Matcher Rings :: sterling silver and lapis lazuli]

I’m updating my shop today!  Hallelujah!  What a great time I’ve been having in the studio these past few weeks.

On the menu for today:

11 pairs of earrings

4 necklaces

8 rings (ranging from size 6-9, wide and regular bands)

a million seed bead strands that I’ve been making all summer long — well, more like 15 seed bead strands, but it feels like a million when I am holding them in my hands

———————————-

It’s incredible, almost unbelievable, how much color the landscape holds at the moment.  The mad rush of the scrub maple as it sprints towards blood red.  The ever graceful twirl of the cottonwood and aspen into the wide realm of yellow.  The rabbit brush.  The grass.  The last of the wildflowers in periwinkle and plum.  Reigning over all that color is a blue sky supreme, studded with silver clouds, raked by wind, and there, burning bright, in the center of it all — my very favorite star holding steady and warm.

  4. Michele Leblanc says

Man I hope you make more of those seed bead necklaces, I tried buying one but every time I clicked on one it was already sold lol you sell out fast, great job Jillian! Your work is awesome!;)

  5. i feel like my role might be to make you slow down & go to palm springs with me. float in a pool of water. stare at the mountains. drink cocktails by the pool. do nothing. then, do some more nothing. i feel your energy like in my mister. it’s a crazy thrum-hum-vibe-tinsely tuned note that does not stop. you are on fire with zaps & zings. i declare a do-nothing holiday. i declare a time when we two do nothing together. it will be hard for you. but ima make you sit & drink cocktails & stare at the pool. it’s gonna happen. & i’m going to get this package out to you one day. one day soon. xxxooo

  6. Those image arrangements! The vibrancy. The deep blues and silvery fins.
And a million seed beads, GONE!
I just got back and I missed the boat. I tell ya.
It must have been a beautiful shopping spree for those lucky ducks. 🙂

  8. These are so so beautiful, just like all your work! Owning a piece of your jewelry is definitely on my “someday”-list <3 Thank you for sharing them and your beautiful photography <3

  9. Zoom….Flash….! There they were GONE! One of these days I’m getting me some of your work too. What great “problem” to have that your beautiful crafts get plucked up so fast. I look forward to the day I’m fast and fortunate!

  10. Just came across your blog, your work is lovely.
    Cheers,
    Marica

  11. Darn. Missed out once again! Those lovelies went fast.

  12. Your words, images, your original craft, it brings visual peace to my mind’s wandering. Gratitude for another Mountain Girl, who passed your site on to me. All, inspiring my own creative desires that until recently have lived in the dreaming place where waves yearn to be picked up by the winds of connection and simple ways. “Being” free challenges one to live into a vulnerable and true self. I can feel this breath of awareness and celebrate it as I imagine and continue to step forward. Thank you…

  13. I, too, missed out– alas. I saw the listings go up and sadly submitted to my current “bank card free” state (snort))… only to wake up in the middle of the night with the realization that I don’t need bank cards to use PayPal!! that was such a DUH!! moment…
